As a former Chicago and Orlando resident, I’ve been able to enjoy the best of all worlds’ right here in Holly Springs! Holly Springs, North Carolina is one of the top 100 places to live! I’m so proud to call this my home town.
I could go on and on about all the great things there are to do in the Raleigh area. If you are ever wondering what’s going on or what should we do? I would encourage you to check out Social Butterflies or Macaroni Kid South Raleigh. You’ll find all the wonderful things that are family friendly for kids of all ages.
This weekend, the Kiwanis Club of Holly Springs will be holding the 11th Annual Kids Appreciation Day! It will be on Saturday, May 4, 2013 from 2-4:30pm at Holly Grove Middle School in the football area.
The event is FREE to kids and it is open to the public! There will be rides, games, arts, crafts, entertainment, “Terrific Kids & Teachers” ceremony, frozen yogurt, pizza, prizes, and so much more going on to enjoy as a family! Come out and meet some of the family friendly vendors and enjoy their games! I’ll be there to answer any of your sleep questions and have the kids enjoy a pillow toss!
I just recently joined the Kiwanis Club of Holly Springs. I love that their mission is to serve the children of the world, and celebrate the children of our community! It’s been an amazing experience so far and I have loved working alongside our awesome Key Club members! This is an organization about creating real positive change in the community! If you are interested in getting involved, you can learn more here about being a member of the Kiwanis Club.
I’m excited to celebrate and appreciate our children this weekend and make them feel super special! What will you be doing?
